EXPERIENCE

EXPERIENCE

Outside of entrepreneurship, Susan has had a passion for  radio and recording since childhood when she started recording mock interviews at age 10. Recording was always something close to her heart and she moved into community radio in 2015 with CCRFM.  After this Susan moved into RosFM where she presented four shows initially helping to fill the new schedule, at this time in ROSFM, Susan helped with the reshape of the station learning all aspects of radio from transmission, equipment, IT, accounts and became a director at board level.  Around the same time Susan got involved in MC work and covered the merchant services Retail Excellence events among others, also travelling the world to attend speaking events.

Susan has featured in the Irish times, Wheels4women, and contributed as a columnist for The Premier Newspaper in Tipperary. She has also done TV interviews for BenTV supporting the African community in Ireland and was Broadcast Partner for the Nigerian Cultural Festival in Dublin.

To further enhance her radio skills, Susan studied radio production with the  Institute of Commercial Management in conjunction with TodayFM Dublin in 2018.

She has also received training in radio defamation law and advanced interviewing skills.

Susan set up the Lets Talk Business Podcast in 2016 with a view to discussing business with global entrepreneurs, discussing the highs and lows of the entrepreneurial lifestyle and how people made it to the top.  Initially the podcast was for fun and a hobby but it fast became obvious that a lot of people wanted to speak about entrepreneurialism. In 2020, due to the Covid Pandemic and business commitments, the podcast was put on hold but is now back in full swing again.  In 2022 Susan moved into commercial radio as Breakfast Show presenter for ShannonsideFM and working with Shannonside Northern Sound radio, a role which she truly loves and enjoys. You can tune in weekday mornings from 7-9am on the ShannonsideFM App and on Air on 104FM.

Susan brings a wealth of life experience to the table and is more than just a voice, she creates a feeling with passion being the driving factor in all she does, giving everything 110%.

Susan is a trainee Pilot in her spare time and a fully qualified CMAS and Padi Deep sea diver, having completed all under water and above water exams in both.

Susan is actively involved in Voice Over work and is available for Ads, audio books and MC events.
